MINDFULNESS IN SCHOOLS

S.E.N.S.E Programme for foundation, key stage 1 and 2

• Stillness of Body & Mind

• Exploring our Breath

• Nurture our Minds

•  Stretching & Movement

•  Emotional Awareness

Tailored made sessions including topics:

  • What is mindfulness?
  • Learning about inside the brain and body
  • Understanding emotions and feelings
  • Awareness of thoughts
  • Developing focus and attention
  • Practicing gratitude
  • Being kind to ourselves and others with positive self-talk
  • Strategies for self-regulation

Programmes can be delivered as a class or year group,
smaller groups or 1-1.

Transition Programmes for P1, P7 and Year 8

Through this 4 week programme, children will:

  • Develop self-regulation and coping techniques
  • Promote confidence building, self-esteem and self-worth
  • Understand the importance of healthy relationships
  • Learn how to handle stress
  • Take part in mindful games and activities​
